Welcome to JACHacks!
The John Abbott College Computer Science Department is excited to organize this hackathon. This 24-hour, in-person overnight event will include many challenges and exciting prizes.
Students will work in teams of up to four to develop a project over 24 hours. Mentors will be available to help hackers with any questions and to assist beginners in getting started. By the end of the event, all teams will demo their hacks, and winners will be chosen by our judges.
Project Guidelines
All projects must be hosted on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or any other suitable code hosting platform in order to be judged fairly (we recommend GitHub!).
Requirements
What to Submit
Submit a few screenshots or videos of your project for preliminary judging. These can be referenced during your demo.
Mandatory: Submit a link to your GitHub repository containing your code, or any link that allows us to view the entirety of the project.

#Objective
Use the Unifi API to query the site "JAC Campus"
- Create a history of number of active wireless clients in site (graph, table, etc.)
- Create live heatmaps of occupancy based on number of wireless clients connected to rooms' corresponding access point(s)
##Rules
- You will be provided with your unique API key for the event,
- You will receive PDF floor plans of Library and Herzberg buildings (these buildings will be occupied during the event, providing you with live data)
- WARNING: your API key has read/write/post permissions to a LIVE production environment, you may not use any DELETE or POST methods
- Do not create any new credentials (users, keys, etc.) in the platform
- All activity will be logged and may be reviewed
